Caravan & Motorhome Site in the Forest of Dean
These pictures were mostly taken by guests in and about the caravan site and in the Forest which surround the campsite. As you can see the site is ideally sited for walking, cycleing and bird watching - we have recently been listed as THE place to stay for birdwatching in the Forest on the Practical Caravan website (opens in new window). If you take any picture that you think would be good for the website please send them in to Bev for the website or our Facebook page.
Had a wonderful stay here.
Bev has thought of everything & never stops. She is there all the
time to help with anything. The spacious pitches are well set out with
lovely views. Next time we will not leave it until the last minute to
book so we can stay longer..
What a lovely little adult
only site Bev the owner was so nice and very kind with local
knowledge.
Toilets are dated but spotlessly cleaned 3 times a day by Bev.
Shower is clean and 20p for 5 minutes which is fine by me as the pitch
was only £17 per night.
We
stayed there for 4 nights last week. A very friendly site with simple
amenities. The toilets and shower were cleaned a number of times each
day and there were hand sanitizer sites all around. A great experience
and a campsite set in a lovely location right in the forest. Bev and
Mark were great hosts who went out of their way to help us find some fun
stuff to do. We aim to be back very soon
Great stay here for 28 nights. Lots
in the area to do and walks from the site. Friendly owner and clean
facilities. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet site
Very pleasant site.
Facilities are basic but very clean. owner very accommodating-no mobile
or TV signals but freesat box available for £1 a day! Wifi available for
a fee. Dogs very welcome, plenty of places to exercise them with access
to woods and the forest directly from the site. Access to some of the
pitches is tight (particularly pitch 10).
We enjoyed our one week
stay at this quiet, rural site which is alongside part of the Forest of
Dean from which you can enjoy walks in the forest without needing to
drive at all. There is a unisex shower and a male and female toilet all
of which are kept clean and regularly maintained. A grey water and
chemical toilet waste disposal point is adjacent to the toilet / shower
block. There is also a small hut for recycling as well as for local
information. There are hook up points and satellite TV connectivity
available to the pitches.
