Tucked beside the Forest of Dean, Hawthorne Cottage is made for unhurried days and fresh air.
It’s a small, friendly base for exploring the woodland, Wye Valley and nearby market towns. A footpath leads straight from the site into the forest, so your next walk can begin at the gate.

Hawthorne Cottage is in Clements End, near Coleford in Gloucestershire. If you’re towing or travelling in a motorhome, check Bev’s arrival directions before setting off. Avoid the narrow route through Bream and the steep route through Symonds Yat.
