Just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely quiet campsite. Bev couldn’t have been more helpful with advice and information about the local area and things to do. It’s an excellent location for dogs as there are many walks directly from the site, which is in a wonderful setting in the Forest of Dean. It is very clean and tidy, with good access, and the pitches have hard standing, and the one I had was level. I would certainly go again. There is also a very good Indian takeaway in Coleford that delivered.
Bev is such a lovely lady. Nothing is too much trouble and always has a smile on her face. Site is beautiful, small 10 spaces in all, one shower but never had a problem with it not being available. Lovely dog walk few mins from site. Such a lovely part of the country if you like walking. Plenty if pubs near by with lovely views.
Great site, owners are wonderful, the pitches very generous, there are fantastic walks right off the entrance to the site. So peaceful and the wildlife great. Whether you just want to sit and unwind, leisurely walks with the dog you couldn't stay anywhere better. Can't wait to come back and haven't even left yet.
